Solomon's Temple Theology &
First hand witnesses
What if I told you there is a way to understand Solomon’s Temple theology by finding First hand witnesses. suppose we could go back in time and talk to a significant father and son who personally witnessed the temple of Solomon. Just think about it, having a greater understanding of the first temple in terms of its teachings and focus, could help us prepare for future temples.
Nephi and his father Lehi, are indeed those first hand witnesses of Jerusalem’s first temple. They would have been familiar with Solomon’s temple theology; and they discourse at length about the menorah plan (as do others) found within that ancient record, known as The Book of Mormon. Lets start talking about Solomon’s Temple theology gleaned from first hand witnesses!

Will the Temple Menorah stand-up or fall-down to the claim that it represents a significant plan? For nearly 2,000 Years, Jerusalem has been without its temple! What about the third temple of Jerusalem? Its time for you to consider these bold claims!
Could the Temple Menorah tell us what was taught in Solomon’s temple? It was a prominent fixture of the temple… and it surely can. With a little help from the Book of Mormon, we can discover the Menorah Plan clearly defined, within the Bible. The Temple Menorah is the single greatest common denominator between the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, and the Jewish faith.
Notable/Watch: Netanyahu’s greatest riff.

Consider this: Ask any architect and you will find that design is secondary to function and purpose. The claim of this book is that the temple menorah stands up well to the test of temple symbolism. It reveals the underlining theology of the first temple. Will this knowledge affect the look and feel of the next great temple of Jerusalem?
